Welcome! Our two species of native Oregon turtles are the western pond turtle and the western painted turtle. Both are listed as “critical” on the state's sensitive species list. Learn more about them, why they are disappearing and what you can do to help them. Seen a turtle? Report your sighting by entering your observations in our electronic form. These reports help us record and store location and species information on native and non-native turtles. The information collected in this database will be used to learn more about turtle distributions in Oregon.  |
